✅ Yes! But please verify with us first.
If you have your own raft, kayak, or river gear, we’re happy to work with you—just make sure it meets safety and regulations.
Can I Bring My Own Lifejacket?
Short answer: No… but maybe.
🚫 Water ski or recreational life jackets WILL NOT work. These are:
❌ Not designed for whitewater
❌ Lack proper buoyancy for swift currents
❌ Break easily under stress
❌ Come off too easily during rescues
✅ If you have a whitewater PFD, bring it along, and our guides will inspect it to ensure it meets safety standards before allowing its use.
Bringing Your Own Kayak or Raft?
If you have kayaking or rowing experience, reach out to us!
🚨 Important Note:
Unlicensed guides CANNOT carry paying passengers on a commercial trip without a licensed guide on the boat. These are federal waters, and are actively patrolled to enforce regulations.
Safety and compliance are our top priorities—let’s make sure your adventure is both fun and legal! 🚣♂️🔥
No, we do not rent rafts to youth groups.
Due to BLM policies and the policies of many church, scout, and youth organizations, all youth groups must raft under our permits, licenses, and insurance.
In the past, we rented boats to these groups, but due to numerous issues—including close calls—we no longer offer raft rentals for youth groups.
However, we can help you!
We specialize in large group rafting experiences and have worked with many churches, Scout troops, and youth organizations to provide:
Professional guides for a safe and fun experience
Delicious meals so you can focus on the adventure
Large group accommodations with flexible options
In many cases, we’ve provided group experiences that are just as affordable—if not better—than renting, with less stress and more fun for group leaders.

Yes, if you have whitewater experience. We can provide a boat and gear on our trips. We can't allow this for anyone, but talk with us if you have what it takes.
✅ Yes! We provide wetsuits and splash jackets during high water in May and early June to keep you comfortable in the cold spring runoff.
☀️ But trust us—you will NOT want a wetsuit in July or August!
Water temperatures often reach mid-70s°F
Air temperatures frequently hit 100°F
In the hot summer months, most guests welcome the refreshing splash of the river—no wetsuit needed!
No, our insurance does not allow it.
We are unable to shuttle guests’ personal vehicles due to insurance and liability reasons.
However, we provide van shuttles for many of our trips. If you need your personal vehicle shuttled, we recommend checking out our trusted shuttle partners. They’ll get your car where it needs to be while you enjoy your adventure on the river!
